Request a Smoke Alarm

To request a smoke alarm and installation, you will be redirected to our new public request portal, WBR Connect. Below are step-by-step instructions guiding you through each stage of WBR Connect to complete the smoke alarm request.

Step-by-Step Instructions


New Request

After clicking the "Request a Smoke Alarm" button located above, or at the end of the step-by-step instructions, you will be redirected to WBR Connect. Next click the "New Request" button located at the bottom of the page.

Select a Location

Next, enter the address of the home you are requesting the smoke alarms for. You may alternatively click and drag the map to the homes location. Once the address has been added, click "Confirm Location".

Select a Request Category

Next, scroll through the various request categories until you reach the Fire Department requests. Click the "Smoke Alarm Application and Installation Request".

Add Photo (Optional)

Here you have the option to include a photo. If you choose not to include a photo, click "No Photo".

Enter Details

Next, enter all information requested. Once all information is entered, click "Confirm Details".

Submit

Next, select if you'd like to submit your request as yourself or as a guest. Then click "Next".

If you chose to submit as yourself, you will be prompted to register and submit, if you do not already have an account with WBR Connect, or sign in and submit, if you do have an account. After signing in or following the instructions to create an account, you will then see a confirmation of your request.

If you chose to submit as a guest, you will see a confirmation on your request, but will not receive updates on its progress.
